Jeff, these are the carbs that I have. the arm to pull out the choke is broken and the detente balls are missing (the ones that hold the choke in position). The only reason that I did not use these is i could not get them to stop leaking...but I had other sets of carbs so I didn't try very hard.
A cheaper rout would be to get the carb body that you need and swap it in. If this is the direction you want to go send me a pm we can work out what you need.Ty

Well those being the later carbs puts me out of donating a #2. All of my spare carb bodies are older style. I have three full sets of the newer ones that are as yet untested and one set that are off a suzuki but is basically (but not exactly), the same body. If someone knew for sure they would work I would break them down as #3 of the air/idle screws is stripped and I am not sure if it will come out.
I counted them and I have 24 carb bodies sitting around here. Some of them have a stuck jet or a broken off idle screw, but I have given up on only one of them.
Patience, perseverance and a jar of Vaseline and you can screw a Grizzly bear, if you really want to!
Good luck, and I hope another member can help you out. Even if I could help out it would be 10-14 days in the mail unless sent by UPS and to us Canadians that means You Pri*cks Suck as they rape us daily.2-79 XS1100 SF

Rasputin, All I know is using the Suzuki part no. for the tiny washer/o-ring under the mixture screws is ONLY way of replacing them,OEM. N/A from MotherYammy for yrs. now. They ARE BS34 II's like the later 81/XJ carbs though, with enricher control like the XJ's.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

The Suzuki carbs are the same model Mikuni's that you are after. They were used in a different application but the actual bodies may be the same. I thought I would throw it out there in case someone knew for sure, as I could then send you a correct #2 body. I do not know for sure, but if someone does you get a carb body for shipping.... Not a bad deal.2-79 XS1100 SF
