    Windy,

Well, things got a little exciting last night at the fireworks show here in Simi Valley and I dug the parts bucket out of the shed this morning. I still have the rubber snubber but the bracket, screws and washers were stolen.

I chased a shifty trio of roving mojado metal recyclers out of my yard a while ago but, obviously, they came back later and stole the frame, aluminum rims, and some other stuff that wasn't bolted down. Yes, I do know who they are and their current legal immigration status but the relevant part of the story is that the battery hold-down bracket was still bolted on the battery box in the XJ frame when it was stolen.

If you want the rubber piece you're welcome to it. Send me a PM and I'll mail or ship it to you!
