Well let me check tomorrow. Ah I mean today now

I have a few. I think I have a good number 2. I think. I'll get back to you and let you know. I'd like to be able to help.

I found a number 2 carb. Do you still need it? let me know. Also mean to ask. Just to make sure we have the same carbs. On the back where the air filter box would go. Could you tell me how many holes are in the back of the bell of the carb. Should be 3.

I also meant to tell you that this carb is bare. It has no jets and no throttle shaft or throttle plate nor a float bowl. Are you able to remove your throttle shaft and plate or do I need to put one back in there? Let me know.

Well I take it by your id name here that you have a 78 I'm guessing. So you should have 3 holes in the bell there in the back and the float bowls should have a screw nut on the bottom that if I remember is a 10mm. The 78-79 were the same and the 80-81 are the same to each other but different from the 78-79 years. The 80-81 has four holes in the back. If you don't mind the only thing I ask for in return is your old carb with the broken post. If that's alright. Let me know. I'll be back on here later.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I think I have the old one fixed. I repaired the post like a picture that was shown on here and seems to be holding up just fine. Thanks for your time.
