anyone looking to sell a XS750/850?

Does anyone in the Midwest or SE US happen to have an original (original paint, exhaust, airbox etc) 78+ Yamaha XS 750-850 triple they'd be interested in selling? I'd be interested in buying. a '79 XS750F in black would be the "holy grail" with a 1980 XS850G as a runner up, but a '79 XS750SF Special or XS750E standard would be great too.

If you can find a XS750SF, they bring no money. I think that makes them harder to find. I believe the triples have a FB group.

I believe I know the bike in the picture. If that’s Tampa, I know where it is. Maybe could be purchased but won’t be cheap.

          Offer $100!

The SF could be a cafe racer candidate. A good bike on the cheap. The rear wheel is 17”, a win for cafe mods.

I helped my brother find a totally original and complete 4k mile '79 XS750F in 2021, only issue was rusted out muffler ends. We paid $1200 for it, wish I kept it for myself! I'm keeping an eye out on FB marketplace and I'm being picky. Silly as it sounds, but if I see pod filters, I walk. I've learned to be willing to spend the money up front for a clean original bike.
