        Trapped in the Toyota

You're welcome, Garth, I'm glad you found it useful, that's why I made it!

I'm only back in SoCal for one night this week to find some old unobtanium Ford parts. It's back to Arizona tomorrow afternoon to finish the engine rebuild and, hopefully, install it and see how it runs before Friday. Except for a few short hops picking up parts today and tomorrow there'll be no riding the XS for Scott this week.

        Regards,

        Scott

            Future ride

Hi Garth,,,,as soon as my bro inlaw, the famous Test Bike Dummy from the Yosemite rally gets his tranny back together we have a ride scheduled. I talked to the Wiz, and I owe him dinner and brewskis. I will let you know in the next week or so. There is a new casino near me, Valley Center, that just opened and it is good food and 2.00 blackjack. So, we will be off soon as broinlaw is done. There should be at least three xsives,,,,,so I will let you know asap. There are three casinoes on the way and the famous Hideaway grill on the way also. SO, keep the bike going and we will see you soon, Mike, aka soccer4m, in Valley Center

                no parts needed yet..

Hi Garth,,,so far the bro inlaw has the parts. He did the second gear fix and is putting it back together. We picked up a parts bike with lots of extra stuff. So, so far nothing needed, but keep the parts just in case as these things are getting scarcer by the day. Hope to see you at the future ride to the grub and suds casino, Mike in V.Center

                    Casino meeting ride

Hi Garth,,,,I was thinking 12, noon to ride out to the casino, eat, win a couple thousand at the blackjack table and head on back. The casinos are all within an hour of the Lake Wohlford Cafe, across from Lake Wohlford. Head out on Valley Parkway, through Escondido, turn right on Lake Wohlford road for a few miles and Lake Wohlford and the Cafe are there. Whoever shows up, we will be there at noon and head out. If we go to the local casino, there is Palomar mountain to ride up, or the farthest casino, just opened, is a great ride also. Either way, we should be back for the big game. I have a big Plasma, so whoever wants to stay for the game is welcome, just riding in the dark can be a problem. See you, Mike in V.C.

                        Game time ride time change

Hey guys, I am a moron,,,the chargers play at 1:45 pm pacific time, so we can move up the ride time so we can get back for the game. I think 9am is better so we can get back in time. So, let me know if you get this and we can meet around 9am for the ride. Sorry, I was reading last weeks game time and it was 5pm. So, 9am at Lake Wohlford Cafe,,,,,let the Wiz know, and I will let the Bro inlaw know, Mike, 7605258565

                              What Garth said and ...

It was good to see Mike and Tom again and meet Garth and Steve!

Steve and I parted ways with the group after leaving the casino and had a nice afternoon ride out to Temecula for a cold brewski. I got home about 5:00 PM after forgetting about and then surviving the winds on the I15 North --> I10 West transition ramp.

I feel like a piker biker today: only ~ 400 miles and I'm tired!

                              Regards,
