HI Jeff,,,missed your call awhile back, my cell phone died in my wetsuit bucket and lost all contacts, anyway, hope you are going to this rally, and maybe bring Bonz to the rally as he lives in N. Carolina now. Looks like a cool rally with all the great models, of course the xs1100 is the king. If you go which bike are you bringing to the rally?? Take care,,,Mike in San Diego

            Vintage Yamaha Rally Attendees.

We're a bit behind on planning for 2023. We'll get moving fast on the planning as the rally is a mere 3 Months away!
We need to get a better idea of who is coming. You won't be overwhelmed with a flurry of garbage e-mails or useless communications. PLEASE RSVP ASAP so we have a better idea of the quantity of attendees!! Go to www.vintageyamaharally.com and click the RSVP button (see photo).

There's a chance of me attending but I won't know for sure until sometime late this summer. Needless to say I'm not in a position to RSVP right now and if the host fills up before then I still know of plenty of campgrounds in that area.

                Hi Lab3,
If you're >50% probability of attending, please go ahead and register. I promise your e-mail box will not be filled with trash from the Vintage Yamaha Rally but we will include you on shirts (assuming we do one this year) and the weekend plan (although it is normally pretty consistent).

One of the above designs (wording) will be selected by the Organizing Team for the 2023 Shirt BACK. The wording was provided by Chris & Katie.

Once selected by the team, the shirts will become immediately available for pre-rally purchase.

I sent an order via PayPal and never had a chance to say what size I wanted. Maybe I did something wrong.

                      I request XL.

                      Thanks Nancy and Kurt!

                              Hey Johnny O,
I guess Yamaha's Original Color for the "Speed Blocks" of Yellow and Black is not appealing. Yellow does make for a bit of higher visibility as well.

We're always looking for a volunteer or two to take over some of the tasks associated with putting on a pretty decent rally. Are you volunteering to take care of the shirts and design next year? You are welcome to do so. It's not a big deal just do the following:
                              • Find someone to make a design
                              • Get the approval of the few regulars (organizing committee)
                              • Coordinate with the printer
                              • Collected the money
                              • Send a confirmation e-mail to everyone that ordered.
                              • Make up any differences in the cost from your OWN pocket (Last year it was something on the order of $200 out of MY POCKET)
                              • Transfer the money from PayPal
                              • Write a personal check for the sum
                              • Make sure you get all the right sizes and long or short ordered properly.
                              • Pickup the shirts
                              • Organize the shirts into goodie bags for the attendees to make it easy.
                              • Chase down those that sent a check that bounced.
                              • Mail the few that weren't picked up because the guy couldn't attend.
                              • OH... And listen to someone bitch about the design or color that they didn't add any value to the process
                              • Job is yours if you want it.
