  • SE Vintage Rally 2006 and after

There is now an official website for this annual rally.
    rally.motorcyclecarbs.com
It is ready for production and includes:
-Forum to discuss and keep up with the rally
-It can host photos of past events. (Send photos to rally@motorcyclecarbs.com )

Annual highlights for this event include
-From 2006 and on a BarBQ will be provided.
    -Leaf season
-Great samples of vintage (10 years or older) bikes.
    -Great friendships
    -Lots of stories all weekend
-Literally HUNDREDS of miles of twisty mountain roads
-Excellent hosts and accomodations at the Two Wheels Only motorcycle camping resort.

Please join this forum to keep up with the when, where, how, and why. The XS11 group has been the core of the group but we are growing every year as other vintage groups begin to attend.

Lets everybody join and discuss this great event held the weekend closest or just after the 15th of October annually

      Rob,

Sent photos of 2004 event, I send as a large zip file (I assumed that is what you wanted from what you typed someplace) waiting to hear you got them OK. I sent to the rally@motorcyclecarbs.com address. I see on the picture site you ask them to be sent to robreil@robreil.com or something.

How do you prefer they be sent and did you get the 2004 one I sent OK .

      Thanks,
      Gary Granger

Well send what you got anyway you can. I guess you now can see past pics up and running now.

Just did a weekend road trip Atlanta to Huntsville Alabama with wife and kid in cage. Nice ride. mostly ridges, and plateaus and valleys if going west. Pretty, but not too twisty.

Can someone else check this link for me. I have tried several times and I keep getting a Page Not Found error in my explorer.

                Thanks,

Was down a week or so ago. I guess Rob is having some issues with it.

                    Sorry!

I am away on vacation, our webserver ran out of space and had to move dozens of webs to new server. Data moved but webs not yet started. Will start them up next week when I get back home.

                        Should be fine now.

Our server ran out of HD space and had to move it to another server. But that job fell through the cracks. Should be fine now. Please advise, and sorry for the inconvenience.

                          Maybe it's just me...

I'm still getting a "Page not found" error ... also got an "Under Construction" error once, but not since then.

What are the dates looking like for this event. SWMBO and I would love to make it.

Well it was fine. Last night the IIS part of the server crashed. I wont have time to fix it all till tomorrow. Even our corporate site is down. I have to fix Cold Fusion first, That makes the money. The rest follows afterwards. Should be up tomorrow.
