yup, Wing has new tires, oil & filter just changed. Plus I can bring my 12 cup coffee maker and tote all the beach gear with ease. (You have enjoyed some of that strong coffee over the years) Actually I just ran out of time to work on the XS11. After 7K attending 3 rallies last year it needs some tlc. Carb cleaning, valve clearance, Wires dangling, petcock gaskets, I never put in the TC fuse box. Those Avons good for another 3K at least. Guess you won't be having Seafood Festival for your birthday this time around. Happy Birthday (in a couple days)

Yeah, was hoping we would have a surprise; that you might show up. It is a real fun trip. Fun in the sun while its snowing or at least lousy in most of the US. Hope the wife's surgery & recovery is quick. Those laser procedures, just amazing results.

Phil and I will be meeting up with you around 4 at the Sawgrass Rec park. Looking forward to the ride. Should be nice weather, like around the 70 degree temp for day time temps. Not trying to rub it in to the northern people (those north of Florida), but enjoy your temps while we enjoy 6 more weeks of sun and sand.

I guess Phil and I will be only ones riding and XS, but we are happy to represent.

Good thing the South Florida ride isn't today with the way the weather is (Thunderstorms all day). Should be great after today though. Have a good ride south.

                Day 1

Great ride yesterday across Georgia. Rode though Oconee National Forest then down Scotland Road. Real nice scenery.
Early bloomer trees in already in bloom.
62 degrees with a nice tailwind all day.

End of Scotland Road at the Ocmulgee River

In Lake City FLA last night as planned. Waiting for Brent and Don to arrive.

Jeff, Ted and Heather and Stewart Bikes all packed and ready in Lake City.

Stewart found his Goldwing's hidden trunk well with the tools and manual in it.

Brent and Don on their way from Tallahassee, should be here in the next hour.

Bright Blue Sky, warm sunshine, a little cool but getting warmer.

Going to be a great ride.

60's here, but that looks way more fun ridin' those recliners.

Sawgrass @4pm will be perfect. See you then! We will leave Silver Springs at 9am. That would get us to Florida City by sunset. (which is perfect)

The Georgia Gang (stewart, brent jeff) has ridden 770 miles so far. Pretty wet this year around the Okefenokee Swamp and the St Johns river wetlands. Lots of green already poppin'.

Brent's newest addition to his fleet. Shiny police HD joined his red fireman's HD.
