ATL Riders -- Ride for Special Needs 9/13

    Hello Fellow XSives,

I am coordinating the 2nd Annual Ride for Special Needs, a police escorted ride in Gwinnett County (Northeast ATL). Ride date is Saturday, Sept 13. The ride benefits the Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, a private non-profit school for special needs kids pre-K through post-12th grade. The ride ends at the school around lunchtime, and we've got lots of food, live music, live horses, jumpies for the kids, carnival/midway type games.

We are also launching our building campaign, "if we build it, they will grow". Websites for the ride and the building campaign are below.

Thanks for letting me post this ride information. Let me know if you'd like further details.

    Mike,
I'm not sure I can make this Ride or not. Sept plans still too goofy at this point. Also depends on if all the SE Rally things are organized and ready for the Iron Horse. I've looked at the Ride info and the link to the Capital Campaign. Certainly a very worthy cause. I'll make the ride if I can plus donate to the campaign. Thanks for posting this info.

      Jeff,

Thanks for checking out the ride and building campaign websites. I believe supporting and improving the educational environments for kids with special needs is a worthy cause.

            Mike,
I likely will not make the 13th ride -but- I did follow the easy "Donate Now" link on theywillgrow
and used PayPal to make a contribution instead. If my schedule allows I see I can always Sign-In for the ride 9am in L'Ville.

                Nice

                A worthy cause.

I rode my XS11 to see Mike Farrington & make donation to this worthy cause. What a well organized fundraiser. Excellent omlets & juice at check in nice T-shirt... I have been on most of the nice country back roads that this ride covered, and I know it is a pretty and easy route. I left before ride so I missed the actual ride, Yes I wimped out, wrote DNF on my shirt and will not pretend I did the ride. I bet it was a good one.
It is a great big beautiful world out there
