  • New XS1100F Owner!

Hello everyone! New to the group, recently acquired a 1979 Yamaha XS1100F. The bike was in storage for the last 30 years, has around 3,000 miles and I am ready to breathe some new life into this beautiful machine!

Welcome aboard! With so few miles there shouldn't be any issues. Post a pic if you can.

Thanks all! Finallly got spark, poor/corroded connection from one of the pickup coils at the plug. It looks like she'll need brakes/mastercylinders rebuit (locked up), tires and fluids. I have found an incredible amount of great information on this forum, thanks to all contributors!

Thank goodness they drained the Gas tank before storing it, carbs...not so much. 30 year old varnish was pretty thick, but carb rebuild went fine. Click image for larger version Name:	61351.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	168.7 KB ID:	870113
