  • TeXSive Rally SoundOff (who's goin')

Need to get a solid idea of who is planning to attend the rally this fall. Just post a response here with your name and email in case I dont have it. This will help me get a head count and know who is coming so I can be expecting you. I will post a list of "who is attending" on the rally website.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

I plan on being there. And a Friend is riding with me too on his 81 SH. I'm bringing Zeus since Zilla is temporarily trashed.

          How about camping

I'm in, is it time yet? I wanna go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody else thinking of camping and where is a cheaper place than the thriving metropolis of Bandera?

          Who's closest
          Best campground
          Anybody camped there before
          Price

Is anybody else interested in camping?

I know it's going to be a balancing act to get a good, less expensive and close camping spot.

By the way I'll pay the price if I have to.

Count me in. I'm so ready to ride! I'm staying at the Old Town Square Hotel, if I can get through.

              Sorry!!!!!!

I would love to make the trip - - - - but, I just can't do it this time. If you use your imagination you can come up with all the excuses that I could . . . DRAT!

You all have a great time, and take some pictures so we can "simulate" the experience down home.

Staying @ Old Town Square. 4 of us, one 80G, one 03 warrior. Arriving Friday afternoon, late.

                Brian & Robin (03 Warrior)

Warrior boy thinks he has the fastest thing on two wheels. My 80g hardbagger gives him a good run, just not quite enough. So one of you guys with a strippo model need to show him a taillight! (As a sidenote, hes not well dialed in on the twisties).

First person who gets there buys me a beer when I get there.
                When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

Sad to say I will not be there. Have a good time and post plenty of photos!

Just a recommendation....both spills we had at the Reno rally could have been avoided. 1. Review group riding manners, particularly if any riders are not used to group rides. 2. Take it easy in late afternoons, as unfamiliar roades and fatigue, plus low sun angle, can cause you to under-estimate corners.
