Hill Country Ride October 29, 30 & 31

There will be a group of riders geting together the last weekend of October for a Hill Country ride. This started out about three years ago when a group of riders from the GS Resources got together and organized (I use that term lightly) a ride. It has since grown larger and included Several KZ riders from the KZRider forum. we also expect some riders from the CB750/900/1100 forum to take part in the ride. If you are interested, let me know and I will post more details.

We are presently discussing the location of the initial meeting/meal. In the past we have had it at the Cracker Barrel in San Marcos but it looks like we may have it at the Gristmill River Restaurant in Gruene, next to Gruene Hall. Here is the thread...you are more than welcome to join the forum and take part in the discussion...sometimes it does meander a little bit. Since you live close to the Hill Country, your input would be invaluable.

If any one else decides to go on this ride and wants to camp out at Randy's place (it's free) please let me know. He has outside shower and a bathroom so it is a very comfortable campsite. I will send directions and I also need to let him know so that he has some idea how many people will be camping. Right now there are about 15 folks camping in 10 tents. There is plenty of room and you can't beat the price! Also, we need to know who is going to eat at the campsite on Saturday night. Billy Ricks is cooking ribs and he needs a headcount as soon as possible! Billy says he is paying for it but most folks have indicated that they are going to hold Billy down and stuff some money in his pockets to help cover his costs.
