  • East Texas Motorcycle Ride

It’s time the TeXSive Riders, my motorcycle friends, and anyone else riding motorcycles take a long weekend trip to Jefferson, TX; located near Caddo Lake and the Lake O’the Pines in north east Texas.

    http://www.jefferson-texas.com/

Who's going? My wife Deborah is going and driving her car; so the non-bikers living near Houston can ride with her and join the party. I know of at least five bikers going; Stan Hutchison, Steve Hutchison, Robert and Linda Moore, and Mike Campbell.

All riders are welcome, so invite your friends. The only requirement is to have fun and enjoy the weekend. Children are welcome, assuming they're fun also.

    Reminder -- Jefferson, TX; April 30, 2010

    Hi riders…

This is a reminder of our April 30th , May 1st, & May 2nd motorcycle trip to Jefferson, Texas. At least 10 motorcycles and a van are leaving from the Houston area; so it’s not too late to “sign up”, till we’re gone. Attached above is my original note; it’s unchanged. Please reserve your own hotel room.

This should be a great trip. Be safe, and join the fun. Stan Hutchison; Chief Sand Turtle, (713) 306-3494

      Rally at Jefferson, TX

      The TRIP is a go!!!!

Ok riders … “T” minus 2 days and counting. The April 30th-May 1st weather to Jefferson, TX looks GREAT; low’s in the 60’s; highs in the mid 80’s, with a chance of thundershowers; so bring your rain gear, a hat ,and sunscreen.

Below is my best list of “confirmed” travel friends; if you’re coming (and are not on my list), you might send me an email or call. Note: Those living near Jefferson can travel on Saturday morning and meet us in town for lunch, ride around the Lake O' the Pines, and view the Battle of Port Jefferson.

After reviewing the weather forecast, I decided to cancelled our trip; I also cancelled our hotel reservations. The expected heavy storms were to risky. We'll try again in the near future. Stan H.
