    Meeting of the Minds head count

    Hey all...
    I'd like to get an idea of how many are going to be coming in for this... Please vote on the number of people who will be with you... not number of bikes...
    I will assume that most are coming in on Friday but anyone who wants to is more than welcome to come in Thursday... please PM me if you plan on this so I'll have some food ready...
    I will have something prepared for Friday evening... looks like it might be lasagna and/ or ham for anyone interested... It may not be Burger King.. but we do our best to accommodate...

    All the hotels are within a couple of miles of us... the Motel 6, Travelodge (was the Ramada Limited) and Best Western are closest and least expensive... not sure about the Best Western but I believe the other two are around $40...

    Our next door neighbor has offered their backyard and tent, we have a tent and tent space... and another neighbor has offered two beds (I don't know the size of the beds as of yet)
    Please let me know if you would like any of these...

    Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

          Terri and I ended up booking the Travelodge for Fri/Sat nights. The last I heard from Ivan was that the northern contingent was heading down Friday.
          Dunno when we are meeting up with folks, I just plan on following Ivan. Although I have also set the location in my GPS for added security.

            I am leaving friday morning, either real early or sometime around 9am to dodge the traffic. Will be staying in one of the fine, selected hotels close to the action. Haven't chosen one yet.

            As for pitching a tent, it ain't gonna happen.

            Drunk dialing and texting? Think I will stay away from that one to, but its gonna be fun to watch.

            We all have to remember to maintain some semblance of decorum fitting to our group image.

            We all of course, want to avoid any physics demonstrations, interaction with the black and whites and any introduction the the local EMS system.

              Now the question is which bike are you coming on or are you going to be a trailer queen again???
              My plan is to ride the midnight special. I am going to try and meet up with Bob Falter on his way through KC and we will collect Ivan and whomever else we can on the way. That is as far as the planning has gotten so far.

                I threw Kat under the bus by adding in the texting part so you wouldn't feel like I was only picking on you. Half the time she wasn't sure if she sent them to the right person!

                      Well Harry...

                      I don't know what you text to your wife... but I know what I text to John... and I hope... if it's anything close to what I text... that it was your wife... or a very understanding friend... or a more understanding wrong number (although... those can be fun too)
