    Talimena Rally 2008 T-Shirts

    I thought it would be better to make this it's own thread. Things were discussed about having the same design for the Tshirts as last year, just changing the date. Last year was white lettering on a black shirt. They looked awesome and Vincer did an XSellent job getting us a great looking and high quality shirt cheap.

    So what is everyone's opinion? Get a new design? Go with the same thing and just change the year? Make it black lettering on a white shirt this time??

    If you would like a different design, then try to give some opinions on the new one. I think it would be easiest to see if the silkscreen is still available that they used last year and just go with the same design.. but that's just MY opinion...

    Shirt Design

    does anybody have any thought for the shirt design for this year or are we cgoing to change the dates and use the same design. Once we have the dates set, then I would need to start getting a count on how many shirts everybody wants, if any.

      I'm fine with just changing dates if that would be easier/cheaper. If it really doesn't matter.. you might put something in there about the 30th anniversary also?? I'll take 2 this time.

          I like the idea of white shirt with black lettering but sticking with the same design is OK too, since I don’t have one. Can we get them in long and short sleeve? I’d take one of each.

            I have not thought about long sleeve shirts as well as short sleeve. I would think that if there is enough interest in both that I could get them.

              Yeah, if you can, check on that. I don't need any long sleeved, but I do prefer white shirts over black. BUT... I'm not real picky either... I mean... look at the "friends" I have...

                    Prices

                    I have a call in to my friend that makes the shirts and she is going to get prices on short and long sleeve shirts so Hopefully in a couple of days I can have the pricing all put together. I did tell her that we are looking at white shirts with a black logo this year. But that is not set in stone so what ever the majority comes back with is what we will go with. Similar to last year I can bring the shirts to the rally with me and avoid the postal charge but for those not attending I will mail them or send them home with a fellow XS'er if need be. Please be patient while I get the details all worked out.

                      Put me down for two short sleeve. One XXXL and One XL. And two long sleeve same sizes if we get them. I have no preference to the style as I am new.

                        Not crazy about white tee shirts...

                        I don't know about the rest of you, but my white tee shirts get armpits stains about the third wearing!

                        Grey or black kinda hides that nastyness. Besides, black looks "cooler." And let's face it, we need all the help we can get!

                        Riding around on 30 year old bikes... what the hell is wrong with us?

                        BTW, SWMBO just bought a 1982 Yamaha XJ650J Maxim.

                          I'm partial to the black t-shirts myself... and also possibly interested in the long sleeve... depending on funding at the time (or lack there of)
