A quick on-line scan of hotels in Hurst showed some slim pickins. Of the three I found, two are not available on the weekend in question. Need some help here. The only reason I break out the tent is let the grandson play in it.

SWMBO has decided this is not a ride she wants to go on. "All you guys are gonna do is talk about torque and horsepower". My reply, "yeah, I am sure thats gonna come up at least once", her reply, "why don't you just go by yourself this time, I don't think you can get in much trouble with that bunch".

I am in the middle of planning for this trip. Which of these motels will be the closest to all the action?

The closest to our house are probably the Motel 6 and Ramada Limited... the Best Western is just across the highway but there isn't really anything around it (other than businesses)...

The places with suites might be a good thing for any who want to hook up (not THAT way Tod!) and share a room... most of them have 2 double beds and a large sofa.

looks like I will be staying at the Ramada. price is reasonable at 40 a night with a breakfast. I will be making my reservation later this week. can't wait for this 900 mile ride!!!

If space gets full, the only hotel I can think of is the one on Baker blvd/ Hw10 on the freeway. Across the highway from the Yamaha dealer. If our house gets cleaned up in time and I am home for sure. I am sure one or two people might be able to crash at my house if necessary. Its only a coupla miles away. What 10 min? Gotta double check my schedual.
