  • camping at Cache Creek? chime in

    from Sid (yahoo list)

To all those comming to BI2K Deuce, and who are planning to camp at the half way point at Cache Creek, on the Monday August 5th, I need to know numbers, unless you already have made arrangements. You can find Cache Creek, on your favorite search engine, to see what is, in motels as well. ASAP!! TIA.

          Cache Creek

I will be arriving in Ladysmith Saturday evening, Aug. 3... depart for home Aug 6 am.

My plans in BC are to do whatever the group is doing. This might mean camping out the night of the fifth, and then packing up and leaving for home the next morning.

If this sounds like a reasonable plan, put me down for camping Aug 5.

          Ron.

            Cache Creek Camping

We are not sure about camping at Cache Creek yet. As We have to be home ( Edmonton, Sherwood Park Alberta) by Tuesday evening we MAY decide to continue on and try to get further along towards home on the Monday. Cache Creek will leave us nearly 1200 KMs from home. A LONG day for Tuesday.
Will know more later in the week.

              We'll be there...

              Hey Mike,

My friend Jeff, my girlfriend and I all plan to camp at Cache Creek. It will be from there that we will probably depart and head South for the North Cascades the next day. So go ahead and put us down for three people, two bikes, and two tents for the night.

Campsite reserved - note from Sid

                  Sid wrote me today:

Mike, I booked the group site for those of us who are going to camp at Cache Creek! No mosquitos, pool, showers, "paintball Park". and I think 6 canadian per person per night! We will be comming from the North to Cache Creek, and at the junction to Kamloops or Vancouver, we go towards Kamloops about 1 mile, up the hill, it is called BROOKSIDE, you will see it, ask for "group area", with Sid Clarke.
