It’s that time of year to start planning for XSEast 2024. Per our discussions last year and by popular acclaim, we’re returning to Elkins WV, May 24-27, 2024.
I’ll review the routes but probably do the same as last year except Saturday we’ll do Green Bank and Hull’s Hideaway in Monterey, then for Sunday, the 200 mile route to Craigsville past Webster Springs and lunch at Vickie’s Food Place.
I reserved rooms at the Super 8 by Wyndham Elkins, same place as last year, 304-636-6500. The room rate I was just quoted, was $99 but expect for a double, $111 per night. I figure dinners at Smoke on the Water and CJ Maggies.
