Anyone interested in a rally this summer? Phil, Wayne? We seem to be the only ones who put them together. After talking with our southern brothers in Brockville in 2014, I understand they would prefer something close to the border for accomodations and I can dig that. I could put something together using Kingston as home plate if there is enough interest.

Mack you broke the cardinal rule for rally posts. 1st post is to contain all the details of Location with Motel address and Phone number.

I was thinking about an Ontario rally earlier today.
I wondered (aloud) about the area down by Lake Erie as the last few have been in Eastern Ontario ? Or the shores of Lake Huron if Tom is ever home
Lots of members in Ohio and Michigan we could attract.

I'm just fishin Phil. If there isn't enough interest then I'm not going to waste a lot of time on it. I'll probably go for the knee replacement instead, and stay close to home for the summer.

Do you want to do another ? Let us not forget Rick Williams & Ken Leach and all the others who helped and attended numerous XS North rallies.

                      Hi Marty,
Which area would you like to see ? Mack thinks the 'mericans want to be close to the border. I have been looking at the South West down towards Lake Erie but the map only shows straight roads. Any interest in returning to previous locations?

Can't be that hard - North of 17 ya got no roads, west of 69 ya got no land, east and north of Montreal ya got, well, je ne sais pas....

Repeat places that were OK the first time are OK. Riding routes in reverse is the same as as new route.

                          accomodations

It's the accomodations that cause problems. That's the other reason I was leaning toward the kingston area. Lots of options, and food possibilities. One thing going for our southern brothers is that the exchange rate will be heavily in their favour! Right now I think it's $1.46 to buy a US dollar.

                            Hi Mack,
The dollar could go anywhere in 6 months. Not so long ago they were at par. While not ruling out Kingston it does not have great roads in close proximity (that I am aware of) It is also a loooong haul from the Ohio basin and Michigan where we do have some potential"clients"
