Then realized I've got wedding to attend Sat 28th in NC. Would be too cheesy not to show up at wedding.
So drat ......... Can't be in two places at once.

That whole "Potter" county and surrounding area is fun to ride but never done it with a group.
So i'm more that bummed I can't be there.

Could 'fake' a last minute ailment,
then jump on bike and ride 800 miles to the Rally?
We all know that wouldn't go over too well when I got home.

Maybe if you have another 'Canada Day' Rally this year I might be able to ride up for that one more time.

So, evidently I have a niece getting married on that Saturday and my attendance is mandatory. I will not make the ride.

one month to go to register!
To date I count 12 people with 9 bikes have posted.
If you know someone who is coming but has not posted yet could you give them a shout?

Overview of routes - the plan so far

                            Saturday

Gas and stretch stops at #7 (33 miles), #12 (88 miles and also the Lunch stop), and #13 (124 miles). Total route is about 182 miles, almost all through the woods.

                            Sunday

Gas stops at #6 (77 miles), #11 (134 miles). Lunch stop is at #8 (87 miles), First Chance Inn. Sightseeing stops are #3 (37 miles), Kinzua Bridge state park (good group photo op), and #10 (105 miles), Elk Visitor's Center near Benezette (. Total route is 167 miles. This route passes through a couple of small towns (including my town, Kane) with a couple of stop lights, but is mostly through the woods also. I may have to adjust this route a little if there is construction later in the year.

Both Saturday and Sunday suppers are next door to the motel, Kaytee's Family Restaurant (formerly Erway's). They have a small banquet hall we can use if we have enough folks. They will have a couple of dinners to choose from to keep costs down, like we did in Summersville WV. More on that later.

As soon as I can get in touch with Jerry F I'll see if he can host files for download. As soon as I finalize the routes I'll make Garmin and GPX formats for your GPS, and PDF format for you paper map folks.

                              Hi Marty,
Those two routes look good. Having ridden some of Sundays route I know what an excellent road the section from 3 to 7 is and other parts look even twistier than that.
