I have the time to do organize a rally again, no problem; I just wanted to give someone else the opportunity before I jumped into it.
I am currently exploring central PA. I have some good roads in mind, nothing twisty like WV or VA or SEOH however, just nice low-traffic country roads. Problem is finding a place for us to sleep and still be within a day's ride to those country roads. Let me make some calls and test some routes out.
In the meantime, if you have a hankering for some place special, or have your own ideas or plans, feel free to jump right in.
I have family duties to attend this weekend so chat among yourselves till I get back.Last edited by MartyA; 11-05-2015, 10:38 PM.Marty in NW PA

Vermont was certainly memorable in many ways. For Ben & I having exhaust fall off have gone down as legends
So far western PA has the lead but the ballot is still open.

I have loved every XSEast I have attended but the 2009 VT rally is still my favorite...the roads were fantastic and so was the scenery...even our motel was excellent...I dunno about 2016...1980 XS650G Special-Two

I do like Vermont a lot, but might I suggest a little further east in the 'real mountains' (for the east, that is), in New Hampshire?
PA is always great for me as well.
Would Maine be a possibility? I know...not good for the southerners.80 SG

I am not sure if we have any members left in New Hampshire ( Live Free or Die) to encourage, coerce or brow beat into organizing a rally
If you want to plot some routes and find a place for us to stay and places to eat we could go
If you will do the work I can find someone to lead us astray
Otherwise we are off to PA.

I would gladly lead in VT or NH. Damn, I still have the routes practically in my head. Just sayin. That Colonial hotel had everything we needed.\
NYC bastards have been there since...and always had a good time...

No posts since 22nd, so assuming no one else is planning anything, does anyone object to north central PA? If you check a map to see where, look at Potter, Clinton, Cameron, McKean, Elk, Clearfield, Centre counties. This would be a bit west of Wellsboro, and if you have been to Wellsboro with a group you may see a couple parts of the same roads, and maybe some new parts. It is fairly rural with with a few small towns. Not many twisty roads but lots of rural two lane roads we can sorta do some 'express' riding.
If anyone has any other ideas or plans please jump in now...Marty in NW PA
