  • XS East 2014 Saturday supper vote

Greg and I have made arrangements for Saturday supper at the Ranch House in Craigsville. They have a separate dining area for groups, and can prepare up to 3 dinners for us so we get served when we arrive. We have a couple of days to decide how many of which but please weigh in as soon as possible.

The dinners are $10.00 includes a drink, not salad, and dessert is +$3.00 if you want. This is a platter of meat, potatoes, veggie, gravy, and a drink. For now vote on which you would want so I can give them a count of how much to make.
Choices are Baked steak and gravy, Chicken and gravy, and Turkey with dressing.

All three are available to us so vote for your choice.

And Marty, relax, I type slow.....

      ETA:
I thought a poll was a good idea but those who are bringing +1 or +11 can only vote once so post your "+'s" choices.

At 10 miles away from the hotel, I opted for the steak vice the turkey. Wouldn't want any of that tryptophan to make me sleep before the ride back to the room.

Yep steak sounds good to me.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

              Hi Jeff,
Is Baked Steak a West Virginia thing? I have never heard of it.

It must be West Virginia speak for roast beef. At least, that's my guess.

You might want to try the baked steak, it is usually awesome, my wife makes it all the time. Its also called bucket steak and cube steak. They used to sell alligator tail there too. Kinda weird since we are a long way from any gators.
