As far as I know up here in Canada all banks offer some sort of travel insurance. It doesn't matter if you do business with that bank. Or at least up here.

I have travel insurance through my old work (union). Good for 60 days. Then I have come back across into Canada and then the clock resets! Then good for another 60 days..... and so on and so on.

Nope. AAA member, but no insurance available, bank no, insurance company no. Much different than Canada.

I put this on the calendar Wayne, but may be headed out West again around that time.
Will need to split a room, but can't yet commit. What a predicament!

Also, there is a problem of no health insurance coverage at the moment for Canada. What do folks here do if they have that problem? I like getting north a few times a year and this is a big problem.

For those that aren't into the sweet treats; this is another type of incentive!

btw: this stuff been outlawed yet??

Poutine, gotta love it! Its part of my "incentive" to think about heading north in June.

It is not available in stores, it is only available directly from the producer.
This stuff is so good it should be illegal. Cardboard would taste fantastic with this syrup on it.
I may have an extra bottle or two on hand at Rally time.
I suggest the dark syrup, for full effect.

Incentive! yes I am a fan of the darker syrup too.
I understand that this web site shows some good back road routes in Ontario. www.escapethe400.com

Springtime is coming. (you do not even want to hear of temps in GA today)

Let me know if you want a web page for this event. I've been hosting pages for other rallies on my domain. I'm not an html expert but can build a basic site so all the info is in one place. Handy if the thread gets long.

I can also host photos in a gallery format for post-rally talk.

Sample page is at www.appleattic.net/xs11.htm. This was my web page for the Durango Rally.

Or, if you are good at html, send me the page you create and I'll host it.

Thank you Phil. Not a show bike or restoration, but Much improved. It looked so much better that I had trouble recognizing it myself. Several times I wondered "whose bike is that? I thought I left mine around here." Then on closer inspection, I recognized some details that are uniquely mine.

Yes, I just got some more cigars, and will likely get more before XSnorth. Which bike will I use to haul syrup. ?? XS can carry the load. I have added hard luggage to my Buell. Even though load carrying capacity is about 100 lbs less than HD road king or XS11, one up it carries enough. On long trips I often consider mpg. when figuring the cost... Sometimes the biggest seat or windshield wins out.

Miles per gallon on my XS has only consistently topped 40mpg on one trip. I had some air leaks & other carb problems. Had to take it easy. I repaired most of those and mpg is again in the low 30s for my XS. Perhaps I twist the throttle too hard and have too much fun on it. Could be If I take another bike there, I can save putting miles on my XS. The pretty tank I put on is a 4 gallon Special tank. Shorter range is also a consideration. Still, it might be fun to show it to some of my XSive friends who have not seen it.
