I have no idea what you're even saying here? If you go to Priceline and put in that town and those dates, that hotel came up for that price for those beds.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

Maybe Marty can discuss with Helen?
I mentioned my service which has in the past gotten me a discounted rate, this year at the Baymont their price for our group is over $310 for the three nights, so I actually got a better group rate than my group rate service offered.
As I mentioned also, there are a few motels there in Summersville, some are cheaper (the Econo Lodge is $51.00 before taxes, has 3 tables for their "continental breakfast.") The Baymont had better reviews, and there are a couple of restaurants adjacent or within short walking distance (just in case of, well, you know) and a somewhat secluded parking lot where we could hang out.
Feel free to take another motel at a cheaper rate, or camp nearby (I don't camp any more) we don't mind and we will still allow you into the group...
You guys should post when you make reservations wherever you go, as soon as you can, so I have a count for lunches and dinners.
Now I have to work on routes.Marty in NW PA

The biggest draw back would be that it has no sewage containment tank, one would have to come in the house to do a #2! lol

If there were only a few of us I would have recommended we call this early and get that discount rate. But if we want to guarantee a block of rooms for all of us we get a "group rate" which is a slightly higher price. They expect to spend a few minutes extra accommodating us as a group and so they take a little bit bigger cut, and they have to manage the reservations from other patrons so they can keep us somewhat together for that weekend. Also they guarantee the rooms are held until a couple of weeks before the rally, so they could be turning patrons away so we can have rooms.

Man, I cant believe you chose Summersville!!!!!! That is where I grew up. It is 20 miles from where I live now. 2 missed rallys and now I have one in my backyard.. You guys will not be disappointed. If anyone needs help with roads, I know them all. you can go from Summersville to hawknest to new river gorge. scenic highway. The governors site actually has a motorcycle riding route posted on the site for all the good riding roads. cant wait to meet you guys. Just to let everyone know, there are awesome campgrounds at the Summersville lake too. It think they are $18 a night for a power site.Jeff

I need to get ahold of greg, I haven't talked to him in a long time, he is a cool guy. We have went on a couple of rides when I first got the xs1100 and it wasn't running right either time. I have been riding every day I can. We had snow this week so there is cinders all over the road so now more fast accelerations. I live about 4 miles from the new river gorge which is in Fayetteville "worlds coolest small town". I am sure we will come this way from Summersville as this direction is where all the good roads are and you can always make loops back to Summersville and stay off 19 wich is 4 lane (2 on each side). I really cant wait to meet you guys. Another cool thing is me and greg will have plenty of tools near by.Jeff
