quick note - the room rate quoted me does not include the 12% room tax. Sorry about that, didn't think to ask before.

Anyone can putt putt their butt butt at the Dam whinery if they want, don't recall those places being the the list of "How to look and feel XSive..." We'll wave as we go by (well, maybe a nod or maybe a glance....)

I'd like to try the Maker's Mark this time... but only if there is taste tests. I'm not walking around that place getting tempted, then say. "Sorry.. dry county."

Also haven't lost a cell phone in any caverns lately? I'm kinda blaming big-chested park ranger on that one though. Dang distractions and all...

Maybe we can set this up as a side bar to East.
If there is interest I'll start another thread and look into arrangements
Visit Loretto 3350 Burk Spring Road

                                Loretto, KY 40037

They say seeing is believing. If you're ever out in our neck of the woods, stop by the distillery to see your whisky being made in person. There's nothing like it.

The distillery is open on holidays except for Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

                                Monday through Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sundays: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., (March through December)

All times are Eastern Time. (We're closed on Sundays in January and February.)

The tour and bourbon tasting is $7 per adult. There is no charge for active duty military with an ID.
