See that was easy! OH it is...
. I am currently just south of there in eastern KY. The roads here are awesome. Sort of like WV though, with lots of houses close to the road even in remote areas.

OK, SE OH it is! Now we wait a couple of days. Mark is out of town till 26th, he wants to scout a motel for us in that area.

Drive to the motel - Friday, May 25
1st day of ride - Saturday, May 26
2nd day of ride - Sunday, May 27
Go home - Monday May 28

In Ohio, there is always a lake of some kind relatively close which will have a camp grounds. It is a "cottage" industry...so to speak.
I have not been through the area that is planned myself, but, QRFan lives a hop skip and a jump from there and may know half the roads better than I know the back of my hand.
Now, to see what I have to do to arrange a holiday weekend away on the bike. Gave up a pint of blood last week, and plain out of spare ribs.......hmmmm

You guys don't travel west enough. There is always a camping option for Colorado and California rallies. About 1/3 to 1/2 of attendees generally camp. Same was true for Revelstoke, Olympia, Pipe Springs, Spearfish, Bozeman, and some other rallies I could mention.Originally posted by DeanR

Lots of camping with my Honda buddies throughout the East. I have to get out your way Jerry. Started a big trip West last year and it lasted all of 2 days. Talk about disappointed..Maybe next summer.Last edited by DeanR; 09-24-2011, 06:20 PM.80 SG
