starter button GONE :( help

Unbelievable, lost the little red button,,
IS THERE AN EASY FIX, OR DO I NEED A WHOLE
ASSEMBLY,,NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN
BEFORE WITH ANY OTHER STARTER BUTTON?
popped out of the control assembly,,
the spring is exposed,,,have not looked
into yet,,battery charging, oil needs changing
and a fuel leak in the hoses somewhere,,

Try mikesxs.com for the button. It's actually black, not red. Part number 24-6525. Not entirely uncommon for that button to break. It's the same as the horn button on the left side.



Look for Tygon fuel line at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Though it's cheaper than Tygon, the black automotive stuff tends to be problematic.

Check the parts for sale section. I believe topcat is offereing some steel buttons.

I just took another botton out of a horn control and replaced the button. I think it's a two screw job after you open the control unit.
