XS East 2010 Official Post

Its a little early to confirm just yet but from central Nova Scotia to Somerset, Pa, its a 3800km or 2361 mile round trip according to Goggle maps. It would be about 5 - 6 days on the road and that may be too far for me health wise. I'll be dicussing this with Bruce & Dave.

Memorial Day weekend in the USA for 2010 is May 31. For the new vice-presidents, the weekend schedule usually goes like this:

Friday, May 28-Drive to the motel, check in, find other early arrivals, find supper, make repairs, tell lies.
Saturday, May 29-Breakfast with everyone and scheduled group ride (or go on your own) all day - beer and lies in the parking lot after. Gifts and awards. Repairs as needed.
Sunday, May 30-Breakfast with everyone and scheduled group ride (or go on your own) all day - beer and lies in the parking lot after. No repairs, we did that yesterday.
Monday, May 31-Pack up, head home.

We typically don't do stupid, and while we 'party' in the parking lot we want to act like we want to be invited back. We may never go back, but we act like we might want to. Silly is OK, just not stupid.

Ralph..I'm glad you have stepped forward and said "Me" so we are finally going to have a XSEast rally where you want it..You have all my support...and like Dean has said...Thanks for setting this up and all the work that goes into it
