If you follow the schedule, departure is 9 AM both days. Saturday back in the barn time is 6 PM, that is after one hour supper at the Tea Room.

Finish time on Sunday, assuming a one hour stop at the Johnstown Flood Museum and 1/2 hour at Blue Knob SP, is 4:25 PM. No planned stop for supper is on that route. About what Russ said...

With a 9:30AM start time, 3 hrs of riding, 4 hrs of BS/photo ops. and lunch I would say 4:30ish.

This is probably a premature question, but any idea of the finish time on Sunday?

    Route Preview

Ralph is trying to get time to check these routes, so until then these are the final drafts, may be adjusted later.

    Saturday:

Spot #3 is the Flight 93 Memorial; Spot #10 is the top of Mt. Davis, possible photo op; Spot #14 is Ohiopyle State Park parking area, there are some waterfalls in the area for another possible photo stop; Spot #19 is the Oakhurst Tea Room dinner stop. 122 miles, includes one lunch stop (somewhere) and one or two combination gas / stretch stops.

    Sunday:

Spot #8 is Blue Knob State Park, if anyone wants a photo of themselves in front of THAT sign...; Spot #9 is possible lunch stop; Spot #10 is the Johnstown Flood Museum, if anyone wants to see that. Otherwise this ride is 129 miles, and has some scenic secondary roads, and a gas / stretch stop.

Parts of this area are urban with a lot of traffic in spots.

Just talked the Motel it is all most full so if you don't have a room call nowhere is the info again also deadline is near on shirts and diner head count.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok,Guys this is what I found in Somerset on Dec. 3-4 of last week . Knights Inn is out, but the A-1 Economy Inn will work with us . It is a 20 room place very clean, nice rooms. THEY HAVE VERY FEW SMOKING ROOMS IF ANY. They have coffee every morning and breakfast. (High Carb) for those that care. They have a rec. room that they will give us the keys to if we rant the place out. So we would have a building to party in or as the guy that showed us the place said park the bikes in side. Also I found a place that would welcome our Sat. night meal it is 7 miles outside of town cost would be under $18.00 that incules tax and tip we would be in our own room plus have our own Buffet plus a bar is in the building. that place is called Oakhurst tea room Check it out at www.oakhursttearoom.com They have good food and lots of it I've eaten there in the past.
So Room cost goes like this
    1-room 1 double bed 49.95 +tx = 54.45
    7-rooms 2 double beds per 59.95 +tx = 65.35
    7-rooms 2 queens beds per room 69.95 +tx = 76.25
    1-rooms 1 king + 1 queen 79.95+tx=87.15
2 rooms with a jacuzzi , kings size beds 1 reg. 1 water called Bridal rooms all facnied up for 159.00 +tx=173.31
So when you call in ask for Kathy. You have to tell them you are with the MADBIKER group they have my busness card with that on and are starting a folder for us. The number is (814) 445-4144 It might take a few trys to get and answer, but you will get them.
