Forks

I have some forks coming from ebay . We replaced all slider bushings last time round - no effect .I do have a bit of pitting on the one that leaks the worst . I used crocus cloth to minimize this but dont think its a fix . I will be riding this weekend on it so we will see .

Hey Alex, missed you for the ride bud. As I understand it your having some issues with your fork seals. Been through 2 sets of seals now? Have you checked your upper sliders for tweaked out of round or tweaked out of straight? There's got to be something going on there.
Anyway, the hotrod is not on the road yet but getting real close now.

Too bad we didn't get to meet up but I do understand that things don't always work out as we hope. Kathi and I had an enjoyable time at the River Rat Rally in Gan. followed by a ride down the parkway. That was about all I was up for anyways as I still feel weak as a new born kitten.

It was a good ride! To much time standing in parking lots, but now we know for next time.

It was a great day to be out riding. Too bad we spent most of it waiting for a group to show up and then spending more time looking for them when they never left home in the first place.

We couldn't have asked for a better day for a ride and as is always the case, the company was good. We put some miles on our bikes and had a simple but good dinner when the ride was done. ****, we even got the kat to fire up, Thanks Paul. Guess I better stop putting her out in the rain eh?
