      Last year

      Last year was a bit of a damp one . I bumped into ELDR (Ted ) there though and that made everything ok . Roast beef was good .We rode back together .

                Northern Old Bastards

                Our Northern chapter has a show in Ladysmith ,Quebec on Sunday June 14 . Should be pretty busy this year with a local community ,that is hosting a bike weekend ,having a parade to our show .
                Quebec is beautiful but the roads are rough . BEWARE - Hwy 366 from Wakefield is a gravel road (and twisty)from Lac-Des-Loups to Ladysmith even though it is marked as paved on most maps .

                      I'm good to go likely on the Sunday. Have to see what's up with around the house and the weather.

                        Looking ahead Sunday would be the better day for me, weather permitting of course.

                          Saturday is the day to go, only a Pancake Breakfast and wrap-up on Sunday

                          Saturday's events include;
                          8 a.m. to 10:00 a.m Breakfast (bacon/eggs)
                          11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Road run / parade
                          1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Field games
                          4 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Concourse judging
                          6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. BBQ dinner
                          8 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Music

                          Last years BBQ was terrific. Axel and I enjoyed the (at the time) free meal, although we had to ride in the rain to get there.

                          Cover charge last year was $5.00 and since I arrived in the rain they just waved me in and would not take my $5.00

                          I will be planning to leave early Saturday morning, but not so early to be in time for Breakfast.

                              look for me

                              This will probably my last rally this year. The forecast looks poor, but it will give the frog toggs a good workout. Saturday would work out best for me.
