    Hey Jim,
I think I made it work Hope this is what you wanted

Ok Boys & Girls. HamJam is looking at options for our dinner at the Ashgrove Inn. There is a private room available for us to use.
There is an opportunity to have a fixed price meal.
The advantage to both the kitchen and XSives is , with planning ,everyone can be served quickly so we are eating at about the same time.

Ordering off the menu offers plenty of choice however the kitchen will have to deal with the regular resturant at the same time so meals will be served in the order they are ready. We will not be eating at the same time though still in the same room.

Fixed price is the way to go, especially with a large group.

I doubt we'll run into the issues we had at the 99 in Vermont.

I Hope we don't run into the same problems..
Sounds Good to me. Then you can approximately plan your expenses better, and it makes it a lot easier for the Restaurant.

          Thanks

What problems at the 99? I vote for a "catered" or fixed price option for a large group.

              Hi kids
this is the tentative fixed menu , I am open to suggestions ...maybe

"Saturday pm - Dinner (time pending)
              3 choices:
              Roast Beef Dinner 16.99
              Quarter BBQ Chicken Dinner 15.99
Seafood Tettrazini 17.99 (pasta tossed with shrimp, crab, scallops, mushrooms, onion, tomato in cream sauce)
(not sure if this is vegetarian enough - do you eat fish? This one can be changed if it doesn't suit - let me know!)
              includes bread and coffee /tea
These prices do not include tax or tip. "

              also..
"We can do a breakfast buffet Sunday morning if you are in a hurry to get on the road. Otherwise, if you can wait until 10:00am we have our regular Sunday Brunch on. (people love it!) It is 12.95 (11.95 for seniors over 60)."

I voted for the menu just to be different.
Hammie's fixed price selection seems fine.
