Genesee Valley Mall
Registration time 11:00am
Leaving at 1:00pm

Herd this all through the grape vine soooo.........
Made the trip to Connecticut, 1800 + miles round trip and only one hang up. Second day of the trip and had to replace Dad's rear tube and tire. Put us a couple hours behind schedule.
Was not able to make it up to the rally while I was out there, but there is allways next year. I was hoping to see another XS on the road.

Well almost one year since a post was made, so....
I'm intrested in a ride today. The weather dosen't look the greatest, but not bad. 100-200 miles sounds good. Anybody intrested? Oh ya, and the Gilmore show is coming up on June 12 & 13th.Last edited by Flatlander; 06-12-2010, 06:24 AM.Flatlander

About 100 miles
Riding through the thumb area, we beat the rain, decided that it was time for lunch and was heading to Bay City. All the sudden one of my friends was far behind. His bike was running on one cyclinder. Come to find out that his 2003 Road Star collapsed a lifter, which leads me to a question. How do you remove the lifters from that thing?
All in all it was a good ride though.Flatlander

hey flatlander!
You will have little luck getting anyone to find you the way you are posting.
If you notice the first post in this thread, it is about looking for someone to ride in CT (that's Connecticut) which is located in the Northeast, and thus in the Northeast section of the forum. You are looking for someone to ride with in MI, which is in the Midwest, thus you should post in the Midwest section of the forum. I guessing not too many Michigan Xsives will look for a weekend ride in Connecticut.
And, if you want to organize a ride then you should start your own new post. Posting in a 3 year old thread for a ride the next weekend or next month won't get you too many views.
