Hi Phil,
When are you coming to Atlanta? When shall we begin our ride from GA to the Pocconos?

Hi Mark,
Sounds like you are going to be one heck of a busy Bluenoser. Looks like you might as well camp out in Bruce's "Vinyl Chalet" until it's done.
Are you riding down with Dave? What about Bruce? Is he coming?
Wayne

Sad to say that I will not be coming to this Rally. It really bums me out because I wanted to be there for all the good reasons plus it's the 30th anniversary of the XS1100 and I wanted to celebrate with my "new" '78. Both Bruce and Dave have confirmed that they can not/will not go. The reason is the same for both but I will not discuss that here.
My bike is still not quite ready but if I took some time off work, I'm sure I could have it ready by Wednesday afternoon, the day I would start my trip. Yes, the Poconos are that far from central Nova Scotia that I need to leave Wednesday at noon to be there by Friday afternoon. And that would be with out ever riding this bike before I go.
I can't go alone any more due to health concerns. So if Bruce and Dave can't go neither can I.
Have a great rally and if you can Wayne, would you please be so kind as to pick up my T-shirt and Dave's and I will send you the money ASAP?
Sorry to do this to you Buddy but I 'm between a rock and a hard place....

Mark,
Sorry to hear you guys will not make it. Maybe Bruce and Dave should start planning NOW for next year
I'm only going to be there for Friday night/Sat morning but would like to have said hello. I guess I'll have to give Wayne extra grief to make up for you and Bruce not being there.

Well that certainly is sad news Mark. But, there is a bright side Buddy. At least you will have time to work on it to make sure that is running good before you venture out on any type of journey. Can you imagine leaving and then breaking down!!! Whoa, You might have to...I don't know...RENT A CAR
Don't worry about your T-shirts. I'll get them and pass them to Bruce in June, or I can mail them to you, whatever you want.
You take care Mark,
Wayne
HEY!!! This is my 100th post!!! Hurray!!!

Add two bikes for US, one XS11E and one Goldwing coming in from Connecticut. We can't make it till Sunday morning and staying at the Super8 down the street that night for $68 with AAA discount. Budget wouldn't let me book for one night,(should have lied and said two).
Anyway after a quart and a half of oil and adding 10 psi to my tires (really low and squishy riding) it is like a new bike and kept up great with the sport bikes to Great Barrington so this trip should be easy, right? No twisties at 80+
See everyone at Budget Sun AM and hope for good weather!
Aww-w-w-w easy on him, Ralph. He is so excited to be riding his own real motorcycle to a rally and not having to ride b*tch on some big fella's Buick look-a-like......
Har har har
Hey Pete this is an XS rally, no tellin' WHAT is going to show up!

Hey Marty,
Although I am optimistic about the Phoenix makin' it there this year, I'm not there yet.
Who knows maybe Mark will show up in a car this year.
