    A good rally is 50% XS and 50% other bikes and all the XS's start the morning of the ride.
    You'll see FJR, Kawasaki Buick Electra (that's the Canadian version with the big fins, the fake chrome plated intake hole in the hood, and the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror), Nighthawk, Tuono. Some dedicated souls arrive in rented 4 door automatic single exhaust electric window vehicle. They are also welcome.

    You are sooo right abt my noob status and XS rallies...this will be my first...so obviously I had to ask the noobie question.A couple of things lead me to want to take my "other" bike.One being weather protection and two storage space.With the Max I have no luggage space and weather protection is nonexistant...But on the other hand I felt like taking the XJ11 because I am a proud owner and would like everyone to see it...so I am still undecided abt which bike to take but I am planning to make this rally and meet a whole of like minded XSives.To the Poconos!

              Ben, I may also be on the ST. Haven't yet taken it on a trip and that's what it's made for ! Just need to get it all back together...

                Cool Ride!

                Ok I'll bring the ST and Pics of the Yammies ...LOL...In all the years I have been riding Yamahas...I dont think I ever did more than a 400 mile daytrip to Wash.DC and back on the old Max...but thats when i was younger and could fight the wind better...and thats just one thing you dont have to worry abt on the ST.So Thanks guys for the reassurance that it dont matter what I ride....and thats way cool in my book...

                  Marvinna (hubby Bob Garcia took the photo, from Rapid City and our guides for this part of the trip, still remembers his XS)

                  See, we hang out together and not a running XS between us (wait, sorry, Brent's sometimes runs...)

                      just made the reservation

                      Ok I am in for this rally...just made a reservation for Sat nite and Sunday nite....however I plan to leave my home at 5 a.m. on Sat to arrive at the Inn for breakfast with you all and ride too...Check in time for me will be in the afternoon so I will be riding fully loaded ...but seeing as I will most likely be on my ST1100...this wont be any problem Looking forward to meeting you all.Time to put some faces to the screenames..up close and personal...in a friendly way OFC
