    Planning a ride

My brother and I are planning a ride this summer... OK it might be more like a tour...

    Here's the plan...

    Starting in Appleton, WI,
    follow the Mississippi down,
    cruise over to New Orleans,
    down the Florida keys,
then back up to Southern Pines, NC,
    hit up New York City,
    check out Niagra Falls,
then back to good old Wisconsin.

We will be leaving at or around May 17 and hope to be back on June 13.

Does anybody have any suggestions of routes we should check out?

If anybody is interested in joining us, you would be more then welcome.

    Here's the plan...

    Starting in Appleton, WI,
    follow the Mississippi down,

The great river road La 1 & 18 on west side of river. several nice plantation tours just north of New Orleans
    cruise over to New Orleans,

US 90 along the gulf coast fron New orleans through Pass Christain, & Bay Saint louis
    down the Florida keys,
Tamiami Trail (south of Naples only) to 997 south through Homesread & FL city

27N 44y through ocheechobe to Hollowpaw
A1A from Ormond beach to Saint Augustine beach
then back up to Southern Pines, NC,
Hwy 28 from Franklin Tn to Deals gap 129 "the dragon" Blue ridge pkwy
    Hwy 19 esp 19W
Hwy 16 past Hungry mother State park
hit up New York City, Why?? Upstate NY finger lakes & adarondaks are nice. I have only seen NY city on TV

I would highly recommend attending XSeast rally in the poconos

    check out Niagra Falls,
then back to good old Wisconsin.

We will be leaving at or around May 17 and hope to be back on June 13.

I like to ride and may have a few days free time during part of that so let me know as your plans finalize.

    Life is short. Ride hard

        Thanks!

Looks like we are delaying it a little though.

We will be leaving from Northern Wisconsin the third week in June.
