  • Tire change cable

Could someone measure the cable that holds the swingarm up when changing tire. Measure from end of loop to end of loop inside. If someone has one for sale i would like to have one, if not then i will make my own.

    Thanks Tom

        Re: crap on it

You can probably unbolt the shocks to make the axle clear the muffler... Is that what you did?

even when i used the cable i manage to ding the right muff and getting the cotter pin in the castle axle nut scratches the left muff, just tight all over

            nope,

removed two bolts right rear muf mount. Insert heavy pry bar w/rag between muf and frame which held muf down just barely enough. Used crescent wrench to remove nut on axel and taped it out w/drift pin.

Went to put cotter pin in when done. No way w/muf there, so put a clevis pin in it for now.

Was expecting to see "more beefer?" gears in hub/final drive tho.
