Havin' some trouble tracking down a manual for the 78E I'm buying.

Looked on ebay, but sadly didn't find much, and google didn't seem to help me out much there either. ...any other suggestions?

    Cheers,

pardon me - I stand corrected. I WAS able to track down a Clymer, but not a Haynes - I'd really prefer to have one without errors in it.

      go 'fiche

On Ebay right now there are 2 microfiche slides for the 78 E. The auction number is 8026498460. Another option for ya.

Thankee, Erik - but sadly, being a noob, I'm going to need the step by step instructions of a manual. I mean, I'm sure I could figgure it out with just the schematics, but.... then again, better safe than sorry, right?

PS, anyone know WHAT the errors in the Clymer manual are?

          I wouldn't trust a Haynes manual completely.
I'm not aware of any errors in the XS1100 manual but experience with various Haynes publications over many years has taught me to treat them all with a bit of caution.

hmmm... Well, I don't feel bad now for getting a Clymer. I'm also ordering that CDROM with the original manuals and schematics - OEM is always best, right? (unless we're talking about VW's, in which case, the book is probably right.)
