  • Handlebar size???

    Hi can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the XS1100 range of models ??are they 7/8th or 1 inch?? or does it depend on year and model??thanx ie: will any throttle slide/grip thingy fit any bars between specials and standards etc ??

    they are all 7/8", not sure about different models having different bars...

      There were a few different styles, but all were 7/8" diameter tubular bars until the XJ came out with adjustable cast aluminum bars.

          Might mention that the Specials' rototiller pullbacks are made with extra heavy section tubing to prevent flex on those oh-so-long-and-wide bars. Still 7/8" diameter though...

            There might be a problem with the wires from the control from a standard reaching on special bars.

              Yer it's just the throttle tube i needed to know about the clutch and throttle cables and wiring is deffinately different on a special
