Wanted for 1979 Yamaha XS Eleven Special

I am still looking for a good set of saddle bags,trunk,luggage rack/w adjustable back rest and king & queen seat would like to buy these as a set and not seperate, well I will buy seperate if price is reasonable these items don't have to be perfect. I found out the bags were made by Pacifico, I don;t know if they are still in business yet but if anyone has these or knows where I can find please let me know.

i going to put them on ebay and i'm sure i'll get alot for the krauser german breifcase style made famous by/for bmw, includes frames, i want the money and if i travel i'll get soft bags, this way the frames are always attached pushing the blinkers to the rear.

king and queen for standard, my guess it wont fit your special

i really don't know what it's worth, that's why i like ebay to tell me even if i felt i get burned, just like stocks if it's a thin market i can get out, but at a cost.

it has "dan" and "arlene" stitched onto the pattern, dan sold me the bike he bought it new when he was 47 years old the seat is comfy and a good swap out for longer rides...

the cowl is rough and chips on the side trim, but there is a standard seat now on ebay i'm trying to get, it's striped and would need the hardware as well as the trim.

what's you price opinion?

on the subject of seats will a g seat fit a f seat?

Mason, i think i have a complete seat off a 79 Standard out in the garage. Will check in the morning to check on condition. Would be willing to trade even up for seat. Maybe a little money to boot, depends on my seat.

alright man, you can't make this stuff up, i'll snap some pics, i don't need pristine, thats why i bought beaterish, so i don't have to worry and loose sleep over every microscopic nick, well old one2 anyways.

do you have #2 and #3 down pipes for the stock f exhaust? mine are way dented, p/o might have had a run in with a block of wood at speed, fins are gone on the oil filter as well, mike tyson, i dont care if they are a little rusty, i though about aftermarket 4 to 2. 4 to 1, but at the end of the day, yamaha got it right, mine is still good for years, solid, if only they can breath a little better.

cruisers nowadays has those same lines and oem build quality is all there,

heres my wish list:

1)stock seat indigo complete

2)#2 and 3 down pipes

3)nice center gauge, mine melted, how i don't know

4)rear fender, i removed a haphazardly installed mud flap now i have holes i know i said beater, but pleeezzzzz.

5)new emblems throughout

6) non stripped grab handle, center standing is a b@#$% without it.

7) 1olive drab screw that holds an airfilter boot to the carb, lost 1 when i took it to the dealer to fit an uni filter.

then i can go to the rock store

Seat

Mason, i have a complete seat off a 79 Standard with grab rail indigo blue in color side rails need repainted and seat need recovered, ripped where passenger sits. Pan is good but has surface rust on it. Also bolts that hold rear plastic cover (good) are broke off, have new bolts but have not got around to drilling and tapping out the old ones yet. Have good rear fender off same bike. Don't have exhaust pipes, bike has 4 into 1 exhaust on it. I am in the process of making my own dipsticks. Have one of my own for pattern. If you are interested let me know.
