  • Accel and plug caps?

I just installed a set of accel coils on my 79. I removed the ballast. Used a set of 8mm accel copper wire cables. My question is how important is it to use the resistor type plug caps. I put on the rubber caps included with the cables, but I got to thiking whether I should use the original screw in caps.

    Glarusguy,

Don't worry about it. The resistor caps only reduce radio interference. You may get some ugly stares when you pull up next to a cage with an AM radio on, but do you care? If you do, then by all means get the resistor caps!

Thanks much. It's been awhile since my electronics classes in college. Seems I've forgotten more than I've learned.
