          IT'S ALIVE!!!!

          IT'S ALIVE!!!!

Got everything back together last weekend. Turned the petcocks on prime. Hit the starter button. VAROOOOOM!!!

The Dark Horse fired up without spitting, sputtering, backfiring, etc. Sounded great!

Only exception is I've got to adjust the idle pilot screws now. She kept edging up on the RPM's gradually till I had to turn her off.

Any tricks to setting the idle pilot screws. I've got to figure a way and/or tool to reach in there and adjust. Not much room on the two center carbs.

Thanks for all who pitched in and helped with your posts and spare parts.

          Ride safe!

            Tool and tip

Pathfinder took one of my slim craftsman long slotted screwdrivers and ground down the sides until in fit the hole for the pilot screw.

I screwed them all the way in, and backed them out 1 and 1/4 turns each.

That did it for me and now Scorpion runs like new!
