79 xs 11 special misc. parts

I am missing some misc. parts for the above bike. I need (4) of the rubber L shaped grommets that the side covers (top slots) fit over. I also need one of the brass nozzles that come out of the fuel shut offs that your hoses slip over. I also could use any side cover and or tank emblems (any condition on these would be fine). Anyone have any of these parts they would part with? I bought another xs 11 special called "Creation III". thx in advance

Have rubberside cover mounts and some side cover emblems for standard NOT special. andreas

Hey Dew, another option for those rubber bits is to cut some pieces of inner tube and glue them to the metal part with some cyanocrylate type glue. I've had really good luck with Loctite 401. Use a shot of spray accelerator and the setup is not just fast, it is instant. You can wrap over and around, and fill in side bits as needed to get the shape you want. Even if you do find the correct pieces, a dab of glue like this will help ensure they don't fall off or rip when you're removing the sidecovers.
