    oil viscosity

    Going to try a switch from Rotella 15-40 to Valvoline (maybe quiet the engine and shifting down a bit). Valvoline 4 stroke only comes in 10-40 and 20-50, so which would all you more Northern folks recommend? Or does it even make much of a difference?

    Also,anybody use those magnetic oil plugs I see all the time on ebay and are they a good idea?

    NAPA 20w50 has the same address on the bottle of oil as Vavoline. the magnetic oil plug work well

      .. i put a magnet in my drain plug and it works well. it is a good idea
      ..its almost riding season for the northern folks, i would say 20/50 would be your best bet.. wouldnt have to change it until after summer
