screw/bolt replacement

Going to replace some bolts and screws with new.
Without removing covers etc., can you just work your way around the bike just replacing one bolt at a time without affecting any of the sealing surfaces, gaskets etc.? Gotta get rid of as many phillips as possible (carbs) and replace with hex cap screws.

Should be okay that way, Dean. One bolt or screw at a time should not disturb anything else.
