floor boards

Hi, does any one know of floor boards & or forward controls that will bolt on with little or no mod. on my 79 xs11e ? I have been an xs11 member for a few years now but haven't rode for a couple of years now because of arthritus in left hip but got a new hip last june and am ready to ride again and doing some mods. to my bike Thanks shorty

Hey there Shorty,

Hope you have lots of $$, cause they go for several hundred dollars. And then you will still need to do some modding. They don't make them for the XS11 anymore. You'll be able to do a search and find them for many of the modern bikes, mostly cruisers.

I just looked in my new JCW catalog, but it only had "Driver" floorboards and heel/toe shifters for the same location as the OEM pegs, they were NOT Forward positioned controls, and they were $300-$375.00

They were by MC Enterprises.

I'm looking into trying to fabricate a set myself, but I've got access to lots of tools, welder, etc.! Happy Shopping!!

I was lucky and one of my parts bikes came with a set. I also was given a set for the GS1000 Suzuki. I figure between the 2 sets that I can make one good set for the Mongrel. Otherwise there is no way I would shell out the bucks for them...
