'80 Exhaust on an '81

i have a 1981 XS 1100 SH and i'm looking at a set of pipes that say they are off a 1980 XS 1100 (no model). From the pictures, they look the same, but i was curious if anyone knew for sure.

All Special pipes will interchange, but Standard pipes will not bolt up to the rear footpeg bracket, and they are much longer than Special pipes. Special pipes also have a slight upswing to them, and Standard pipes don't. Are you talking about the set on ebay? They do look like special pipes...
