My question would be..... Why ya parting it out? A little patience, you can find a complete motor for these things for about 150 bucks (Or less)... throw a bank of carbs on (Bought a bank on Ebay for 100 bucks). Just hate to see these things canibalized... but I guess it has to happen sometimes. Good luck and sorry you have to let it go.

          why?

I am parting it out because basically it was a rat bike, the most reliable rat bike I've ever owned. I bought the thing a year ago for like 400 bucks and rode it everyday for a year, ratty as it was. Never had a problem. All i did was go through three back tires, about 15,000 miles. Then the cam chain tensioner adjusting bolt thing stripped out. But mind you i didn't run the motor after that, so no damage has been done. Anyway, I picked up a 1984 FJ1100, my dream bike since 8th grade. And I don't want the XS to be a back seat bitch, so i figure help everybody else out that needs parts. Because when i say cheap, i mean you pay the postage and stuff and whatever you need that i have, is yours for just that. Postage and stuff. Thats my way of paying back you guys for all the advice and tech tips over that past year. So just tell me what you need and it's yours, that way it goes to a good home.

I doubt you would want the exhaust, it's pretty bad. No, its really bad.
