You could possibly have a float sticking in the carbs. It will leak up out of the carbs and into the airbox, then out on the floor.

If that's the case though, then it means your octopus may not be doing its job all the time as well.

Do a search here for leaky carbs or gas leak and you will find many posts about them. In addition, the Maintenance and Repairs sections of the forums are chock full of good information about your bike.

Welcome to the site! You'll find most questions have been answered many times...a little searching goes a long way!!

        hey can anyone tell me?

        JWSanders is probably right

        You have original fuel lines?
One first things I did to my 80G was replace fuel/vac lines.
Or could have been the gas fairy

Do you have a gremlin bell? If not, those pesky gremlins may be stealing your gas and selling it for gremlin booze.

              Gremlin bell do's and don'ts!!

              Hey Lilgas69,

You can't just go out and "GET" a gremlin bell and have it work!

You have to have it "Given" to you by another biker. I got mine from Bruce Gerkin at my last rally in NY! I think that any person hosting a rally needs to give out gremlin bells, if nothing else!!!

So...get it working and get thee to a rally!!

You also my want to smell the iinside of your case through the oil fill hole. You may only have a drop on the floor , but much more in the crankcase If so, time for an oil change. This is a scenario I wish I didn't know about...

lilgas69 it looks like you have a standard. Did you just fill the bike with gas? It has the overflow in the gas cap that drains underneath.
