    Polish the headpipes?

    I know the headpipes get real hot.. so i was wondering if it ok to use mothers to polish the headpipes or should i use something different?

    I use Nevr-dull wadding polish. Works great! Seems to work better on chrome than mothers, too.

      Seems if you use use any type of chrome polish on the pipes where there's high heat, it will cause them to yellow. I use blu-away on the head pipes........works way good, and removes any bluing from a previous 'rich' fuel condition.

        Thats what i was worried about ..I didn't want to use something that would turn the pipes a different color once the heat hit it.
